I finally have my printer repaired and ready to create. Currently, I’m making a couple things for he and I. Afterwards, I intern to make a model and open shop. I have a few ideas, but Maya is currently out of reach so I’m battling with the learning curve of Blender.
I remember opening Maya for the first time and being so overwhelmed. I was able to make a sphere and had to stop there. Much later I had made vases, space ships, and even fire particles. I feel a similar intimidation with Blender not because there is so much to the program, but the user interface is not one I find favorable. I have a similar experience with OpenToonz. I want to like it, but it feels so counter intuitive.
For now, I’ll continue to tackle my commissions and keep surviving the quarantine.
